Stefan Schuller is a distinguished additive manufacturing expert with a career spanning over 15 years across the dental, medical, and audio industries. Currently serving as a Senior Application Expert at DETAX GmbH in Ettlingen, Germany, Stefan leads the development and validation of high-performance 3D printing materials, specializing in the creation of seamless, biocompatible workflows and technical customer training.
Stefan’s career is built on a foundation of technical craftsmanship. He began his journey with a rigorous apprenticeship as a dental technician before transitioning into specialized precision manufacturing as an earmold technician at Hörluchs Hearing. This deep-rooted understanding of both dental and audio anatomy provided the perfect springboard into the world of 3D printing in 2017.

Throughout his tenure at DETAX and a specialized role as an Application Engineer at ProductionToGo, Stefan has mastered a diverse range of additive technologies, including DLP, mSLA (LCD), and LSPc. His experience bridges the gap between laboratory benchwork and industrial-scale manufacturing, having held key positions in Product Management, Technical Sales, and Application Engineering.
